Abstract
Increased intracranial pressure after arachnoid cyst resection is very rare. Previously, there were a few cases of intracranial hypertension after resection of intracranial arachnoid cyst or intracranial hypotension related to rupture of spinal arachnoid cyst, but no cases of intracranial hypertension related to the spinal arachnoid cyst. We report a case of intracranial hypertension after resection of spinal arachnoid cyst and describe the experience of treatment with temporary continuous lumbar drain for severe headache that did not respond to drug treatment.
